The C5-R race chain gets proprietary features over the standard IWIS aftermarket LS chain which includes "fine blanked plates" and a proprietary pin coating. This is the only chain you'll ever need, and since it fits over production sprockets its a direct replacement with no worries of clearance to your oil pump.
