Description: Size 3 1/2" x 7" (standard stereoview) Mount curved Publisher / Photograph Unknown (see notes) Title Untitled view of a trestle type bridge at Abilene, Kansas. Condition very good to excellent Keywords Dickinson County Notes: This rare image came from a large group of Abilene, Kansas stereoviews. The photos in the group have been dated to the late 1880s and early 1890s. The photographer is unknown. The quality of the imagery suggests it may be the work of famous Colorado photographer Wellington O. Luke, who was listed in Abilene during the early 1890s. They could also be by a man named Forney whose studio at 3rd and Broadway was active in Abilene during the 1880s. Image is sharper than scan. YNPCOLLECTOR STEREOVIEWS Do you collect stereoviews?
