TAIL LEATHER ON ONE SIDE SKIN LEATHER ON THE OTHER SIDE. With timber handle and hanging eye. The two different surfaces are intimately glued together back to back with a special flexible glue that we have found to be durable and best for this application. Here you get the best properties of both leather types in one single strop. The SKIN side is finer grain and will give good results with fine blades such as razors It also gives a good final sharpness to knife edges. The TAIL side is suited for knives and tools. It has been proven by tests to give a sharper edge on knives. There is no reason you can't use either side for either job. HIGH GRADE KANGAROO LEATHER. BOTH SIDES ARE VEGETABLE TANNED.
