Description: A JW Young Ambidex casting reel overhauled but the bail arm return spring was missing so I had to make a new one but it’s just not strong enough so needs replacing, also one of the cover screws was seized and damage which I finally got out but had to file the screw slot wider (please see photos). The reel now spins smoothly but quiet firm, paint work is fairly worn but it’s been a well used reel in the distant past.
