Description: JVC GR-D270U Camcorder 25x with Manual. Silver/gray *Working PARTs* READ This purchase includes the Video Camera, 2 batteries (charging hold not guaranteed), Operation manuals, Camera Case, Original box, AC Adaptor/charging cable. NOT INCLUDED - Memory Card Condition as tested. I was able to plug the AC Adaptor in and it turned on while connected. After about 10 minutes on the cord I unplugged it and the camera continued to operate, however after just a few minutes the low battery indicator came on. I did not leave the charger connected to do a long charge test. There are two batteries included. There is one DV digital tape included and it's used. Results of the test:All functions tested worked with some areas to note.The monitor is color and it looks pretty good overall.The playback of the tape has a couple of issues to note. 1. There's a soft clicking sound, not super loud as if it's about to break, just a sound like when a playing card hits a spoke on a bicycle - click click (but much quieter). This all was done with the recording that was already recorded on the tape, which is probably 10-20 years ago. I then hit the record button to see if a new recording would playback in better condition. NO, it didn't. There are still some digital video and audio background noises. The audio (sound) is almost not there at all on the new recording, but it is on the old recording, just not smooth. It could be that the head needs to be cleaned or demagnetized (is that still a thing?). But because of these problems, I'm listing this unit as for sale as PARTS ONLY.
