Description: For sale, a beautiful official Manned Spacecraft Center commemorative cover, celebrating both the bold insignia of the Apollo 16 flight, but also the release of the Robert McCall moon exploration stamps, boldly autographed by mission commander John Young during a visit of the STS-1 crew to the Cape to thank employees and inspect their vehicle. Officially postmarked at the KSC the day of signing, May 21, 1981, along with a "First Day of Issue" cancellation. In fine condition overall with recipient address and some light signs of handling, this cover has been kept in archival sleeve and BCW top loader as seen, included at no extra charge, to keep it looking great!
