Description: Rectangular serving dish. Measures approximately 8 3/4" x 5 1/2". Back is marked Lamberton China, John Wanamaker, Philadelphia. White with a geometric pattern border of squares and dots in yellow and black. It looks like this pattern was applied to a form that was previously used for something else because there are raised embellishments at the ends of the dish that to not fit the rest of the design. There is a chip in the rim and there are a lot of surface scratches on the dish. Please see photos. I recently acquired this piece as part of an estate collection that included restaurant ware dishes from restaurants, hotels, railroads, airlines, and the armed forces. I'll be listing more over the next week or so.
