John F. Kennedy Germany Presidential Party 1963 Internal Photograph Type 1 + 1

Description: I will be listing a small handful of items from a 35+ year CIA Director. Please see my other auctions for a large piece of the Berlin Wall presented to this person by a German official along with a core sample in Lucite from the then heavily Russian bugged German Embassy. There are two photos in this lot, please view all pictures. A short time ago I sold a very rare 1963 John F. Kennedy Official Member Presidential Party Pass Pin from his famous visit to Berlin June 24, 1963 that included his famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech. It belonged to a family member and our family were friends of the Kennedy's. After speaking with this relative again about the pin and wondering about the previously seen Kennedy photographs that were in the family. The end result of the conversation were a pair of internal photographs both from that famous visit on June 24, 1963 by John F. Kennedy but also an internal photo from the visit (and subsequent speech) by Robert Kennedy on the one year anniversary of that famous speech on June 24, 1964 and after JFK's assassination. As with the pass itself, and given these were not distributed or produced in great numbers, there is a high probability that these are the only survivors. Both photos have some minor edge wear but are overall in remarkable condition. I have placed a "watermark" on both photos but it is not on the photos themselves. The John F. Kennedy photograph has a penciled number 9 on the back. The Robert Kennedy has what appears to be 2-c-5 penciled on the back. I have included the now sold Presidential Party member pass for reference only, it is NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE.
