There are some minor scuffs to the top of the unit. The front still has the plastic on the outer surfaces. Each JoeTap™ dispenser is shipped as a complete system. It requires only cold brew coffee, electricity and a supply of nitrogen gas (N2). NOTE: You will need a wrench to tighten the nut on the gas supply and a flathead screwdriver to adjust the pressure on the regulator. The cold brew coffee should be filtered down to 5 microns or less and chilled between 34 to 38 degrees F. To chill the cold brew, place it in the 5 gallon stainless beverage tank (provided with your unit), then place the tank inside the operating JoeTap™ dispenser. Alternatively, you may pre-make and pre-chill the cold brew in a separate container in a refrigerator or cold storage walk-in. The JoeTap does not include a gas source. You will need to obtain nitrogen (N2) from a vendor who supplies beverage-grade compressed gas. A metallic off-taste or other undesirable flavors may develop from poor quality gas! You may also get your nitrogen from a nitrogen generator such as the Nitrogenator™ Elite available from AC Beverage. What is Included: When you unpack your JoeTap™, you should have the following components: • JoeTap High Capacity Unit. Each unit is a stand alone, self contained, refrigerated unit with patent pending JoeTap technology: Single Door Refrigeration Unit: • JT-HC-1-2: JoeTap dual faucet, single tower system (1 nitro/1 standard faucet) • Two 5 gallon beverage tanks. These tanks have lids that are released and secured with handles. The lids have rubber gaskets which allow for a proper seal when filled with cold brew coffee and gas. These tanks are also equipped with safety release rings that must be used anytime you are opening a tank that has been charged with gas. • 25 JoeTap cleaning solution packets. You cannot use ANY other cleaning product and should not use any other cleaning product to clean the JoeTap and/or beverage tanks. The product inside the packets is hazardous if not handled properly. Please read cleaning instruction thoroughly before opening or handling. For additional cleaning packets, contact JoeTap. • Gas regulator. The gas regulator included ONLY works with nitrogen (N2) gas tanks. You will need a wrench to tighten the nut when attaching to N2 tank and a flat head screwdriver to adjust the pressure on the regulator. • Additional items include: Drip tray for each faucet and food grade lubricant (for lubricating O-rings weekly). When you receive the item and sign for it, you own it. Therefore it is imperative that you carefully inspect your shipment for any damage. We specifically include a large shipping sticker that asks the buyer to examine the freight before accepting it. You MUST inspect the shipments BEFORE signing for it! If there is any damage at all you must note the damage on the freight bill. This is the only way you will be compensated for the damage. If there is damage, you have two options:1. You can note damage on the freight bill and accept the item anyway2. You can refuse the shipment. 99% of freight damage is cosmetic. If you sign the freight bill damaged then the freight company may replace your item, approve reimbursement for parts and repair, or provide compensation depending on the damage to your item. This is often the best option if you need to get your item operational and the damage is cosmetic. If you refuse the shipment it will be returned to us. This is usually the best option if your shipment is damaged beyond repair. If you accept your shipment in a damaged state it is very important that you call the freight company immediately to schedule an inspection and file the freight claim, you should take good pictures from different angles of the item and the packaging, and you should save all packaging material.Freight companies are able to deny millions of dollars in damages because items were not inspected at the time of delivery and were not marked as "Damaged" on the bill of lading. If your item has been crated, please expect to uncrate it and inspect it before the driver has left and before you sign for it. For freight deliveries: A driver is obligated to wait. If he or she tries to rush you or you are in any way unhappy with the delivery, ask to speak to his or her dispatcher.
