He hit 30 or more home runs in 12 consecutive seasons, driving in more than 100 runs in 13 consecutive years, and became only the 2nd member (after Babe Ruth) of the now famous 500 Home Run Club. Foxx, a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame and Red Sox Hall of Fame, was enshrined into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951. He passed away in 1967 at the young age of only 59.
