The sides of the base with subtle bow tie shape, cutouts in the front of the frame lend to the allusion of floating. The front with a generous cantilever off the base. Design characteristics intrinsic to Jens Risom. Angled arms that curve in to the back, reminiscent of Vladimir Kagan and Adrian Pearsall designs. We’ve only seen a handful of examples of these sofas over the last 10 years. The example is unmarked and came from a single family owner in Virginia. .
