Copies in this edition, from Norton, were numbered, though the exemplar presented in this listing is out of sequence. This volume appears to be a true rarity--I find no other copies listed for sale as of this writing. The unclipped jacket--secure in a mylar protector--is in fair-to-good condition: a bit worn, sunned at the spine, with modest loss, chipping, and unhappy folding affecting the front panel. The volume itself is in very good condition: with sturdy binding and hinges; slight fraying at the back-strip; free (but for the inscription, not he endpaper, of a pervious owner) of underscores, annotations, &c.
