Description: This is a matted antique engraving from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, a weekly newspaper published in 1867. The prints in this series are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more enduring than the newspaper material we use today. This print is about 155 years old and guaranteed to be original. It is an authentic old print from the aforementioned newspaper and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.The visible part of the print, including the white border is 9 1/2" x 12 1/2". Matted the print measures 12" x 16".
