Description: Elegant Japanese Geisha figure, pre-owned in very good condition*. She measures just under 10" tall and stands on a 4-3/8" x 3-7/8" lightweight wood platform. She has very finely detailed facial features on her porcelain head and hands and wears an embroidered blue silk kimono (I don't know if it's actually silk, but it looks like textured silk). Her carefully styled hair is hand-glued into place. In one hand she holds a folded gold fan, the other hand holds her sleeve. Her kimono looks like a cobalt shade of blue in the photos, but it's slightly more to the teal side in person. *Please note that she's not perfect, there is minor flaking of the glue on the back side of her hair, but you can't see it unless you're examining it very closely. Her interior styrofoam body form has been carefully and permanently repaired near the base with hot glue. You can't tell from the outside. Overall, she looks great and is perfect for displaying.
