Description: This auction is for a Japanese Furoshiki, which is a wrapping cloth. These pieces of fabric have traditionally been used for centuries to carry belongings or to wrap a gift. This piece measures 13.5" wide by 37" long, and features 64 kokeshi dolls (and kokeshi cats) on a navy blue background. All the kokeshi dolls are smiling - so cute! Could be used in many ways, including framing it. I have a few more Furoshiki in separate auctions. This Japanese furoshiki wrapping/carrying cloth/fabric is in excellent condition - there are no flaws - and would make a great addition to your growing collection. White areas are camera glare.
