It is bound in stiff red wrappers titled and illustrated in black on the front wrapper and spine and in a dust jacket with a B&W photo of Kurosawa on both panels . The jacket is in turn wrapped in an advertising banner in which the author states he "would rather be called a craftsman than an artist" and who wished for the prosperity of film as the world's common language and loved the filming sites and crew. Includes a tribute to the director's late father. Laid in is a color pictorial twice-folded publisher's advertising broadsheet.
