Description: A vintage Japanese draw knife we picked up with some other Japanese carpenter tools from an antiques auction in Japan. Look closely and there are two layers of steel in the blade. SThis is similar to how Japanese traditional "kanna" planes and swords are / were made.There's the hard edge with the softer body that makes sharpening easier. The handles are Japanese paulownia wood. The edge is still sharp.
