She lends money free of interest to colleagues beyond the precinct. In exchange, she gets information that they have and usually solves cases faster than anyone else with this information. One day, Kasumi (Takada Riho), the daughter of Senba Shogo (Nishida Toshiyuki), the boss of Senba-gumi, is murdered within the Ueno Chuo Police Precinct’s jurisdiction. This results in Eiko and her subordinate Izawa Satoru (Aoyagi Sho) staking out the Senba-gumi. When night falls, she goes off and stealthily puts in an appearance alone at Kasumi’s wake which is being held at the home of the Senba-gumi boss. Eiko is searching for the key to solve the case. Right after that, she is introduced to Totsuka Joji (Jinnai Takanori), a senior member of the Senba-gumi by Kai Michiaki (Saito Takumi) whom she is on familiar terms with. Totsuka proposes a deal. He wants Eiko to tell them before Kasumi’s murderer is arrested because he hopes to punish him with his own hands.
