Description: Designed in 1970s, this woven gold plated basket is filled highly detailed metal pansies and leaves. The pansies are done in tones of blue, lilac, and purple with tiny garnet jeweled centers and surrounded by green leaves. It is 3.5" tall and approximately 4.5" long. Jane Hutcheson started by making these creations for a local flower shop. She was signed to an exclusive distribution contract with Gorham and her "Fleurs des Sicles" became one of Gorhams most successful gift lines. CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition! There are a few places of enamel loss AND one area on a petal - see photo. All stones are intact. PLEASE examine all of the photos carefully.
