Description: Isobel, A Romance of the Northern Trail by James Oliver Curwood. First Edition. New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers Company MCMXIII (1913). The volume shows very light wear on edges of the cover (see pics), there is a previous owner name and date (February 14, 1914) on the front paste-down (see pic), otherwise the volume is in Very Good Plus to Near Fine condition. All the pages are present and are very clean and crisp. The hinges and binding are tight. Curwood's 8th novel was first published in book form in the United States by Harper & Brothers Publishers on May 8, 1913. The first appearance of the novel was in the December 14, 1912, issue of Cavalier Magazine under the title Ice Bound Hearts. I purchased this copy from Owosso native and longtime Curwood collector Ivan Conger in the late 1980's. This is the finest copy of the first edition I have seen. Insured Media Mail shipping included in the purchase price. Shipping outside the U.S.A. at cost. If you have any questions about this book, please ask. Thanks. David White
