When failing in most cases a rattle from the supercharger is heard, in total failure you will lose power and drive to the supercharger. If you are experiencing these symptoms it could be your coupler but in some cases you may find it is wear in the supercharger bearings. We always advise inspecting the isolator thoroughly, common failures are broken springs and cracked plastic. Look carefully as hairline cracks will open up when in service, this also applies to ageing solid couplers.
