I bought two copies back when it was released in case I scratched or damaged my daily use copy. My daily use copy is still playing perfectly and, unfortunately, a divorce and the pandemic has forced me to sell this copy to someone that will appreciate it as much as I do. Important note on cost: There are several releases of this album. This is “RCV1 550496” which is a special edition Blue Marble vinyl of the 10th Anniversary that was released on October 16, 2015. Four things make this copy unique: (1) the Blue Marbled vinyl itself, (2) Limited to 2,500 copies, (3) Autographed, 12"x12" 24-pagelyric book, (4) 5"x5" Made For Each Other sticker. I cannot find this album for sale on eBay right now nor are there any recent sales. That said, there are two sealed copies of this version of the album on discogs for $455 and up which is what I based the starting auction price on. As mentioned in the title, this is a brand new / sealed copy. It has been stored (upright) in a safe for extra protection since the day I bought it. As you’ll see in the pictures (which I took today) the corners are in great shape with a slight crease in the bottom right corner on the back. The front cover has some lines / marks on it which I tried to get a good close up of. If you would like to see more angles, let me know and I can send. I’m a non-smoker with no children and, as mentioned, kept this in a safe since buying it. Notes on other copies you’ll see on eBay:The “MOVLP2742” version (clear vinyl, limited to 1,500 copies) you will see from other sellers is the 15th anniversary version released recently. Brand new copies on discogs start around $85.00. The “R1 550496” version you will see from other sellers is the 10th anniversary version released the same day as the one I am selling, but it is not on marbled vinyl, was not limited to 2,500 copies, and does not have the autographed lyric book or MFEO sticker. Brand new copy on discogs start around $300.00.The “526542-1” version you will see from other sellers is the 5th anniversary version released in 2010. Sealed copy on discogs is $232.14 and comes from the Netherlands. Finally, as you probably know, buying vinyl is all about the packaging and this will come very well packaged in a Whiplash Mailer which is considered by many to be the best way to ship vinyl. Take note of this Whiplash box in the pictures as well as how it will be packed. The shrink-wrapped album will be placed between foam sheets with cardboard record stiffeners placed on both sides and a sheet of bubble wrap to make sure this is totally secure and does not shift during shipping. For this particular album, I will put two other Whiplash mailers on top and bottom and ship in a 16x20x6 box to be absolutely certain it arrives perfectly. Happy to answer any questions!
