Description: J & G Meakin Tea/Coffee Pot, with 4 cups and saucers, creamer and lidded sugar bowl in the Blue Nordic design. All are in very good condition, with no chips or damage to the edges, and the transfer printed design is crisp and unbroken. J & G meakin was well known for producing inexpensive white ironstone pottery, which they mostly exported to the United States. As their items became more popular, they began using transfer printing to decorate some of the white ware. A couple of these items are marked "Classic White" but are decorated with the Nordic Blue pattern.
