Twin-screw, 21 knots, four steam turbines, single mast and one funnel. Launched Dec. 14, 1954 with passenger accommodations for 110 first and 800 tourist. Her maiden voyage was Scotland-Quebec-Montreal on July 1, 1955. Also has been used in New York service. Her sister ships are CARINTHIA, SAXONIA and SYLVANIA.
