Description: Isager's Viscolin, a half linen and half viscose blend, is a perfect summer yarn. Many of Marianne Isager's patterns will use Viscolin in conjunction with the Bomuld for beautiful garments. Viscolin has a delicate linen look but with a very soft hand. Like Plant FIber 2, it has a beautiful sheen and is perfect summer projects. This 2 ply yarn is a fingering weight and drapes beautifully. It is a lighter yarn than Plant Fiber 2. Fiber Content: 50% Linen/Flax 50% Rayon | Fingering Weight Gauge: 5.5 sts = 1" on US 4 (3.5mm) Weight/Yardage: 50 gms/202 yds Care: Hand Wash, Dry Flat. Please note: Black color 30 is the same as black color 47. Both numbers are listed on Ravelry as black. Since this is a discontinued yarn, there is no information about it on the Isager website. I suspect that Isager changed it from 47 to 30 since 30 is the color number for black in their other yarns.
