Description: Offered for sale is a 7-inch-tall medicine embossed with “T.E. Jenkins & Co. / Chemists / Louisville, Ky.” It has been lightly tumbled. It has a nice aqua color, an unusual tapered-collar (or double-collar?) applied top, seed bubbles, awesome whittling, and an iron pontil base with no iron remaining. The base is kicked-up and there is a definite pontil scar. There are no cracks, chips, or bruises, and very few scratches. The top has what I call "clouds" in it. These can best be seen in photos 2 and 10. They sometimes form when the top is applied and air gets trapped between the top and the neck. This is NOT damage, but they are in the glass and cannot be removed. Still, a gorgeous and scarce 1850’s medicine! Please check all photos before purchasing.
