Description: Offered for sale Belleek antique 'Echinus' pattern glazed porcelain Tea Pot, smaller size. Printed first period mark, in puce, with Registration Lozenge mark, and impress 'Belleek' dating c1863-1891. Lid with printed black 1st mark, and 'Tea making recipe' instructions reading 'Fill with water Blood warm and allow to stand a few minutes empty and use with boiling water' 'D Mc Birney & Co Belleek Fermanagh Ireland'. Good condition, open shell finial lid top, probably with minor chipping, a couple of tiny minute flake roughness . This sale for one teapot as per photos. A nice early surviving example.
