Description: Genuine Black OEM Indian 14" (tall version) quick release passenger backrest in good condition for all years of the large-spool hard-bag Chieftain and Springfield (Dark Horse, Limited and Elite versions of those models too), and 2017 and newer Roadmaster (15-16 RMs may have too wide stock seat). In 2019 Indian abandoned the small Chief spools (about 28mm with plastic sleeve) so this will also fit the 2019-2021 Chief, Classic, Vintage and Dark Horse models with large spools (about 32mm with plastic sleeve). Will not fit the new version 2022 up Chief models. Will not fit 2014-2018 Chief models unless you swap to large spools, then it will work. Note: if you swap from small to large spools your saddlebags may not fit. Easy to install and remove. Instructions and theft resistant screws included (these are usually missing on used backrests). The Indian 14" OEM Black backrest is in good shape, not bent or cracked, no rust but it does have a scuff mark on right side, see last pic. I did not try to touch up w paint. The OEM black studded pad shows no damage but has light marks and wear and leather grain imperfections, see pic. The luggage rack is unknown brand and has some chips and marks from use and bungee cord scuffs. Note: If you don't have the black plastic sleeves over the aluminum bag mounting spools you will need to buy a set; you need 4 of part number 5450769 sleeves, about $20 total. Also, if you need a different color or style pad ask before you buy, I may be able to swap for a small fee. Remember, this is a genuine Indian OEM backrest and pad with unknown brand rack would retail for around $900. Buyer pays with paypal, buyer pays 48 state shipping of $50 (large box).
