Description: group of 15 ads for Imperial Whiskey 1948 1976 This is a nice collection of 15 old magazine advertisements for Imperial Blended Whiskey, produced by Hiram Walker & Sons, of Peoria, Illinois. 14 of the ads are full-pages ones measuring about 10.5x13.5 inches in size, and were published in the two decades between 1948 and 1968. The one other ad is also a full-page, but on an 8x11" sheet, and is later than the rest, being from 1976. 9 of the ads were part of a long-running ad campaign (1958-67) which promoted Imperial with the slogan, Knowledgeable people buy [or choose/give/etc.] Imperial, usually featuring a happy couple transporting a case of Imperial whiskey in a sometimes-unusual mode of transportation. One ad has a dampstain, but otherwise the group is in excellent condition, overall.
