Fiction. 12mo. 5-57pp. Very good plus book in very good plus dust jacket. Orange, yellow and black decorative paper covered boards. Spine is lightly sunned. Minimal crimps at head and tail of board spine. Previous owner's bookplate on front paste down. Internally clean and with snug text block. Dust jacket has light shelf-wear soil overall, spine is sunned. Chips across width at head of jacket spine and adjacent upper edge of front panel, approximately 7/8" by 3/16". Similar but slightly less loss at tail of jacket spine. Not price clipped. (2) Science, Liberty & Peace. 1947. Philosophical. 12mo. 5-63pp. Very good plus book in very good dust jacket. Maroon cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and graphics on spine. Upper page edges are maroon-tinted to match the boards. Extremities lightly sunned. Text pages are a bit age-toned, else clean and with snug text block. Dust jacket is sunned overall and with shelf-wear soil. All folds are creased, spine and folds are sunned. Loss at head of jacket spine of 1/2" by 3/8"; back corner at head of spine has a 3/4: closed vertical tear down back spine fold and with an adjacent 1/2" closed horizontal tear across width of spine. Small chips and closed vertical tears at all fore-edge corners. Not price clipped. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition description.
