It is designed to support patients who are to some extent capable in actively participating in standing. The sit-to-stand lift can also be used to reposition into a wheelchair. Human Care also offers a range of sit-to-stand support slings for patients who need extra support during the lift. Excellent Condition. Clean. Tested Functional. There are only couple of these “mini” lift designs around; this one by Human Care model STS200 and one my Handicare model MiniLift200. They are called “Mini” since are considerably smaller (5-10” shorter and 2-4” narrower) so much easier to use in small areas such as homes compared to the standard sit-to-stand lifts designed for hospitals and nursing homes. These are still built solid for commercial use. This Human Care STS200 is constructed out of aluminum so much lighter to transport if needed (~40 lbs lighter, 64lbs; with foot rest, lift bar, knee pad, battery easily removed to get main even lighter, where than Handicare weighs 110 lbs).
