This is a complete set of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS "FIRST DAY PRODUCTION" Parallel Trading Cards. The set consists of 99 cards in all (#1- #99) & was produced by DYNAMIC FORCES in 2000. These cards are ALL the PARALLEL "FIRST DAY PRODUCTION" version of cards. These PARALLEL versions of cards were only found inside HOBBY EDITION packs of cards (1 per pack). This is a full set that not only features the 72 card base set (#1-#72) but also the short-printed PUZZLE SUBSETS (#73-#99). The 2 Promo Cards that you get were made to promote this release. The Promo Cards are normal-gloss - not First Day Edition like the cards in the set. One is unnumbered & the other is #P1. Each card is in a matte finish with the words "First Day Production" stamped in the matte finish across the front of each card - the scan did not pick up this feature too well (you can see it best in between the logo at the top left corner & The Grinch's face), but each card in the set is the part of this PARALLEL VERSION! This fun trading card set is based on the blockbuster hit movie adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic. Jim Carrey comes to life as the mean one himself, Mr Grinch.
