The Twin Mill, first released in 1969, is one of the first-ever “Hot Wheels Originals” designs, not based on any real-world car. The unique color comes from Arsham’s artistic palette and matches the tone of his other works. The result shows how unexpected the effects of time can be. For part 3 of his collaboration with Mattel Creations, Arsham adapted that design, using a similar color scheme and swapping the previous corporate logos for Arsham-specific ones. Look closely, and you’ll spot a “3020 Rallye Monte-Carlo” badge, too – setting this car up for a time-bending future discovery.
