Description: Holton TR180 Bass Trombone (10 in bell) w/ original D slide. This was completely disassembled – lacquer removed, cleaned & buffed and all bits realigned by J. Landress Brass in NYC. Triggers have been split from the original configuration and the leadpipe converted to removeable - leadpipe included. Both valves changed to new Instrument Innovations rotary valves. Basically, like a new horn without the beauty makeup.There is wear on the chrome slide grips (see picture) but no wear on the tubes. Slide has an Amado water key. Including an Ax Handle to make holding easier.Horn plays great as you’d expect with the above work done, and is ready to be played with that classic Holton sound.Older Protec case included - area of wear on outside, but still very useable. Please remember that this is a used horn, and as such, no returns. Please ask questions before bidding!
