The cover is covered in an attractive printed fabric of colorful Christmas tree of red, green, silver and plaid on a black background. The inside cover material is a cotton plaid fabric. The tie is a plaid ribbon. I tucked a lovely 2.5 X 3.5 Christmas ornament under the ribbon. The main pages are coffee stained vintage papers. Other pages are vintage stationary, papers of parchment. Some designer scrapbook paper, cardstock, imported handmade papers, book pages, and more. This journal has lots of creativity keeping in mind the many colors and characteristics of this season of the year and its many beautiful aspects. There are tags, bands, tucks, envelopes, cards, inserts, photos, bookmark. Surprises tucked here and there. This journal is a good size to write in or use to display. Excellent for journaling, writing, drawings or to set as a unique coffee table piece where pages are informative and creative. A fun, work of art, a book to share with friends and family. Plenty of pages for your own thoughts and ephemera. Some handmade paper- cool colors, sizes, and textures, vintage papers, scrapbook designer papers and lovely original digital downloads. Carefully chosen pictures from my library, vintage/contemporary collection. There are specially chosen poems, and beautiful prints of famous Christmas- winter paintings. There are recipes, songs and other art that go with the theme. Dangles of charms and lots of beads -lapis, spider web Jasper, amethyst, garnet, jade, aventurine, quartz, Italian onyx and black onyx, coral, blue and yellow turquoise, mother of pearl and freshwater pearls, silver beads, glass beads, other semi-precious beads, Czech crystals, strung beads. There is a special feature of a long string of beads with an old book page incorporated in it, with a long hanging crystal. You can enjoy and be motivated as you add to the many journal pages.
