The smudges on the bag were probably picked up in storage. The red cloth bag says, “CLINE TINY BABE #1 (1000 LBS.)” and “CLINE MANUFACTURING COMPANY 3017 S. E. PARK AVENUE PORTLAND 22, OREGON.” The product brochure references Cline’s tiny hoists jointly, then describes the Midget Babe having 1000-pound test cord, all packaged in a red-colored bag, as well as the Tiny Baby having2000-pound best cord, all packaged in an orange-colored bag. So tiny is a general term for the size of these hoists and the name of one of them in particular. Somewhat confusing. (Is the Tiny Babe #1 the Midget and is the Tiny therefore Tiny Babe #2???) Pre-owned. This item appears to be new old stock. From the estate of our Uncle Paul, born in 1927, who collected all kinds of things in Denver, Colorado, from the mid-1950s until his untimely death in the mid-1980s.
