Description: As the card in the top of the box says, this is a “Historical Harmonica Collection” piece. The resonating horn magnifies the sound when played. It is a 10-hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C. Engraving on the horn shows: “Echophone No. 3810” “D. Verdienste Wein 1873, ULM 1887, trademark Gesetzl Gesch” “Stuttgart 1881” “Philed 1876, Gr. Bronce”. The condition of the horn is perfect, nice and shiny. There is some wear or discoloration to the flat edges holding the harmonica, but it is still legible and says: “Echophone made by Hohner. The box is in excellent condition with the clasp and hinges all working. There is a small square plastic piece separate from the unit, likely it is a replacement for what appears to be the same item inside the horn. The harmonica is tightly placed in the horn and I did not want to take a chance on pulling it out for photos of it alone. It has not been played by me.
