HO Rapido LRC Shuttlecraft - VERY RARE - Only 40 made In Memory of Leonard Nimoy

Description: From what I can find online and in old Rapido newsletters, these very rare HO scale LRC Locomotives were auctioned off as part of a fundraiser for the lung association as a tribute to Leonard Nimoy after his passing. This unit is #35 of only 40 produced in this very unique "shuttlecraft" paint scheme complete with USS Enterprise NCC-1701/8 livery with a certificate of authenticity signed by Jason Shron, owner of Rapido Trains and a serious Science Fiction fan including Star Trek. If unfamiliar I'd encourage you to look up some of their U-tube videos as long as you are a fan of corny humour. I am a collector of Canadian and Rapido Trains and this unit had been on the top of my wish list for years but was never seeing any come onto the used train market. Somehow after seeing nothing for over 7 years, I managed to stumble across two units for sale within a matter of weeks of each other and decided to purchase the second because the number had very meaningful personal significance for me, which I why I am now selling this unit as I cannot justify having two of these rare items in my collection. It was only opened by me to admire and take pictures. I'm unsure of previous usage by its previous owner but assume it was well cared for as it appears to be in excellent condition. I have not observed any scratches or damages in my own review. Please see the attached pictures. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and I will do my best to answer them. Sorry if the asking price seems high, but I am trying to recover what I paid to purchase my other unit out of the US including consideration of the US/Canadian exchange rate.
