This is a very rare, out of production DVD on the amazing British stage magician and illusionist who at the outset of WWII offered his services to the British Military. They rejected his offer - he then challenged them to let him use his skills by a hiding a machine gun nest so thoroughly the inspecting British officer actually stood on top of it without every finding it. He was enlisted in the war effort and he achieved some amazing results - he even created a fake Alexandria harbor in North Africa - diverting German bombers in striking the wrong target. This program documents these events and many others that helped the British war effort. The magician was Jasper Maskelyne and this is his true story.
