This was originally offered as a "G" (Gold) Series Optional part for all of the Shuttles and later as a standard item included in the "Shuttle RG" (a lot of Heli Modelers never knew that HIROBO made an all Aluminum Framed Shuttle)! The RG, as standard equipment, had all of the "G Series" hop up optional parts included in kit! The "RG" never sold very well because of the extravagant price (around $800.00 USD)! The images of the Gear is for My own Shuttle... I have finally come to the realization that I need to start thinning out some of My collectible inventories. First, some History... Many Years ago, several importers of the Hirobo Radio Control Model Helicopter brand would buy specific parts in "Bulk" quantities (Head Components, Tail Gear Box and Tail Rotor parts, etc.). They would then "Package" the pieces with their own labels (Gorham Model Products (GMP) comes to mind) and assign their own specific part numbers to the pieces. This Special Edition Main Gear Assembly is one of those items. All are New, and and are still in the original HIROBO packaging. This is a Machined Precision Main Gear... Not just the moulded plastic Gear that comes with the Shuttle series... The Hub is made of Aluminum, and the gear itself, is machined of (I think) of "Delrin"! It is lighter, stronger, and has better alignment and balance than the original moulded plastic gear... So, if You have a Shuttle (or any small Helicopter) in the garage, and have been looking for a "Straight" replacement Main Gear or a new Auto - Rotation Clutch (they always get "notchy" anytime the helicopter hits the ground), here is Your chance to get Your crippled Heli back out and burn some more fuel!
