Description: Here's a really cool vintage sterling silver horse racing trophy won by millionaire Miss Oceana, who was trained by the great Hall of Famer Woody Stephens. This was from first start Miss Oceana made in 1984 as a 3-year-old before she went on to win multiple Grade 1 races and finish second in the Kentucky Oaks. This is a somewhat small trophy from the Hibiscus Stakes, but it features some beautiful ornate design work and a rare chance to get a trophy from a millionaire racehorse and legendary trainer. It weighs 308 grams (10.8 ounces) and measures about 8 inches across and 4 inches high. It is stamped Sterling on the bottom and also 2776, 8 IN. This has some scratching on the inside of the dish, and it could use a good cleaning, but overall in excellent condition with no dings or dents. The engraving reads: Hialeah"Hibiscus Stakes"Won ByMiss OceanaOwner Newstead FarmTrainer W.C.
