Heroscape - Elite Onyx Vipers (Wave 10, Champions of Renown)

Description: Heroscape card and figures in great shape. This set is the reissue of the figures, available in Wave 10. They are near impossible to hit at range—they add 8 dice to their defense rolls. Pair them with the Venoc Warlord and Eldgrim, and their movement goes to a rocket-fast 10 spaces. That gives them first-strike advantage against even ranged opponents. Add in Acolarh and their first movement goes to 12 spaces! These were first issued as a way to give Walmart something special that no other retailer had. After Walmart lost interest in carrying the game, these and several other special figures were reissued in wave 10. You can tell the difference between the original and the reissued figures from the card. The original says "Viper's Vengeance" and the reissue says "Valkrill's Gambit." I have a lot of Heroscape to unload. It spans waves 1-9, master sets (Rise..., Swarm...., Underdark), snow, lava, jungle, Marvel, terrain, ....
