Description: A very good quality English Georgian solid sterling silver serving or soup ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1830 with the makers mark being that of William Chawner II. It has been superbly made to what is termed the Fiddle Pattern and has been engraved with the crest used by the Chichester family, with Devon connections. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 13 inches (33cms) long by 4 inches (10cms) wide and weighs 224 grams. A very high quality interesting piece.
