Description: For sale is a large and brilliant cut crystal bowl. The bowl is very deeply cut, and measures 10" in diameter and is 4 1/2" tall. It is very heavy - weighing in at 6 pounds! I am not well-versed in cut glass, so I encourage you to ask any questions. I was told it is a Hobstar pattern, and that the bowl is circa late 1800s. It has a sawtooth rim, and truly sparkles, and rings like a bell when "twanged". I do not find any signatures or makers marks, but one could be hidden among the cuts. It is in good condition, especially for it's considerable age. There are several small nicks to the edges, and one small chip to a tooth on the rim, which I have tried to photograph, but nothing very significant, in my opinion. Please view photos carefully and ask all questions prior to purchase. I have several antique, heavily cut crystal pieces that I will be listing, so please be sure to check my other items. Buyer to pay $25 domestic economy shipping. The bowl will be double boxed and well packaged. Thank you.
