Description: Two Genuine Hawaiian Sunrise Shells! This pair of similar sized sunrise shells is Nickel Sized and condition is FAIR. The Yellow shell is in Perfect Condition/ the Orange shell has some signs of calcification on the surface and Erosion on the wing tips. There is also a small pinhole on surface of Pink/Orange shell. Otherwise, no major flaws. Shell surfaces are clean and shiny.**Both shells are similar in size and diameter and fit closely together but not exact. Although I found these two shells right next to eachother and assumed they were a complete pair set! Coloration is a Pastel Sunrise palette: Pinks, Yellows, Magenta, and Orange and White being the main colors: The Yellow Shell is a Classic Sunrise of solid Light Yellow with hints of Pink bands. The Orange Shell has a mottled base with hints of Pink, becoming Orange throughout with some White spots.. Pronounced knuckles and ridges on the Orange shell. Please look closely to all the photos!All photos were taken outdoors in natural lighting. Actual color of shell may appear different . All shells are Clean , Dry and Oil Free. Perfect for jewelers. Adding Coconut oil or Kukui oil to the shell after purchase will greatly enhance the colors and really make them pop! This shell pair was found on the South Shore of Oahu. At a depth between 60-100 feet. No live shells are taken, and each shell is found empty on the seafloor. Shells are cleaned only with water and wire brushing- No chemicals.
