Description: Hauser 12" Hand-Scraped Top & Bottom Precision Rotary Table Moore Quality. It has a "160-1" cast into the underside, I'm not sure if that's the part # or not. Made in Switzerland. Weighs about 85lb. Beautiful hand-scraping top and bottom. Almost no defects, just some small nicks near the t-slots and some superficial scratches here and there. Rotary action is very tight, possibly the tightest I've ever seen. I measured backlash at MOST .001", in some spots it was more like .0007-.0008. This doesn't seem to have been used much at all. The worm can be disengaged to move the table quickly (the collar near the wheel rotates). Needless to say, extremely nice and high quality. I have a similar Moore rotary table from 1972 and I'd say it's roughly the same quality. Please note: this leaks oil if you put it on its side so I have drained 95% of it out for shipping. It's got a little dipstick and everything to check the proper oil level. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong, there's just no seal between the table and the bearing surface, it seems. Finally, there appears to be a small gear sticking out of the backside. I'm guessing that this vise can possibly be driven by an external power source? I have not looked any further into it than that.
