Description: Bigger brooch by Hattie Carnegie in cruisiform design was made of poured lucite, or similar, color ruby red with black swirl inclusions, each terminating in a tiny rhinestone on the ends, something Gripoix was known for doing. Layered with blue marquise rhinestones and rectangular white rhinestones, a faux grey pearl in the middle. The back gold tone metal is signed Hattie Carnegie. Early Gripoix brooches used a very similar design in their brooches. The pin is in overall very good condition, but there are some cracks across the coating to the faux pearl; this is something that just occurred over time. Very pretty and larger size pin that is not heavy to wear. Please view all photos for approximate measurements and details.
