Hasselblad Zeiss 160mm f/4.8 Tessar CB lens for V system 500CM 501CM 503CX

Description: Up for sale is this Zeiss Tessar 160mm f/4.8 CB T* lens for Hasselblad V system cameras(500C, 500CM, 500ELM, 501CM, 503CX, 553ELX and others). The CB line lenses were advertised as "budget" lenses, but are roughly contemporary to the CF and CFi series lenses. They have Prontor shutters, as well as rubber focusing rings that tend to stay intact. Focus effort is quite low on these compared to earlier C lenses. The 160mm Tessar was intended as a budget alternative to the 150mm f/4 Sonnar. Aside from being a half stop slower, it is lighter than the Sonnar but actually has slightly more contrast. I have shot with this lens and been very pleased with the results. I believe this lens dates to the early 90s based on the age of other equipment it came with(which ranged from 1991-1995) but do not know that for sure. I do not know a service history on this lens. The shutter fires at all speeds. I have not tested them with a shutter tester, but the slow speeds sound correct at least. Hasselblad branded front and rear caps are included.
