Handmade VTG 50's Full Skirt~Swing Bolero Jacket~Blouse Set~STUNNING Sz Sm or XS

Description: Wow, this is one stunning outfit that my great Aunt Lucy made in the late 40's to early 50's for her daughter, my cousin K. The set was packed together, but I believe the blouse was store bought. Aunt Lucy was an expert seamstress and took on the most complicated patterns. This skirt and jacket are so well made, with so many lovely features that you just don't see in clothing today. The size is small or XS, so please check measurements. The jacket is a short swing style with cuffed 1/2 sleeves, gathers and shoulder pads. No closure, done in cotton. The full skirt has a side zipper, front pleats, and side pockets with fold over detail at the pocket sides. None of cousin K's skirts were finished with snaps or hook and eye closure above the zipper, just safety pins. You may want to add hook and eye's or snaps, or just use the pins like K did. The blouse is adorable and features rhinestones at the collar area, cloth covered front buttons, front and back darting. We are selling all three pieces together. Cousin K was small boned and had a tiny waist ! Please check measurements to make sure the outfit will fit you. We checked the condition and didn't find any flaws, but since it's vintage, we may have missed loose threads, a small mark or two, loose seams, etc...
