Description: Handmade Polished Brass HEART Paperweight 2.4" Karl HAGENAUER Vienna Bronze era Click images to enlarge Description Gallery Karl HAGENAUER - "Paperweight - Brass Heart II " We thought that a large brass heart would be a wonderful addition to our collection so we decided to issue this model. There exist similar models by Carl Auböck, but they are much smaller. We wanted to create a bigger version that is also different in design. A symbol of friendship and love and traditional Austrian handwork. The object is handmade in Austria and marked with "AUSTRIA". The material is brass, polished. This heart is approximately 61mm wide (vertically measured 62mm) and 13mm thick. Weight is about 228g (0.5 pounds). These models are casted in very small quantities and polished and finished by hand. For this reason every piece is unique in its finish and may look slightly different to the one pictured. Also tiny imperfections in finish may occur. They are cast by the traditional "lost wax" method. This item is a Gallery Karl Hagenauer issue of a vintage model. It will be delivered in a velvet bag. The matchbox is shown for size comparison and not included.
